This morning as I was driving home from work I pulled up to a light and next to me was a new 5.0. I was looking at his car as he was looking at mine I assumed. Both of us had our windows down already and he mumbled something and I didn't hear him so I said "what was that?" He then repeated it and he called me a poser :?: This guy was a middle aged man and the car looked to be pretty much stock. I couldn't beleive it! The funny part of the story is that when the light turned green he preceded to rip out of there and he stalled it in first gear LOL I then ripped past him in laughter.

Then as I drove home I started to think, what in the hell says "poser" about my car:?: I take pride in my car and it's just a GT with typical add ons (exterior) and I like mine to be different than others I see. I get compliments on my car all the time and this has me kinda ticked lol

Maybe you guys and gals can help me out and lmk what part of "poser" is even associated with my car. :worship Sorry for the semi-rant

Yep, definitely a duche who does not know what he is talking about (plus can't even drive a stick, LOL). Perhaps he thinks blue with light stripes is reserved for Shelbys? That's about all I can come up with.

him stalling the car reminds me of the time when I was driving to work and this guy in the black, immaculate, Z06 corvette C6 pulled up to the stop light in the lane next to me. When the light turned green, this guy tried to get on it a big and he stalled the car. I laughed the rest of the way to work and told all my co-workers what I saw.

That part is pretty funny; I can't figure it out -- after many many years driving a manual I still stall once in a while when I am trying to go real easy on the gas (and not paying attention to the tach or not able to hear the engine) -- but how in the world do you stall it when you are heavy on the throttle???? It must take special talent!

I don't see anything "poser" about your car. I don't like the wheels, there is too much tint for my taste, and the chrome around the sidelights is kind of fussy, but that's not "wrong" or poser. Just not my cup of tea.

Some of us old guys do have some trouble working a clutch and stick shift, even after sixty years of practice. Give us a break, eh?

Oh I love the deep dish bullitts as well but like I said, I want to set mine off from the rest. Once I saw my rims I knew I had to have them :bigthumbsup

This is funny actually. Over the weekend, I was debating whether or not to replace my tri-bar pony emblems from the pony package with the 3.7 badges. My wife came to me and said, "Why don't you put 5.0 badges on?" I said "NO!!!!!!:nono: Thats a cardinal sin!" SHe didn't understand why. too funny
