Alright, I know these things are not exactly easy on gas. But my 5.0 that I recently purchased is getting between 10 and 13mpg. That's horrible. I know it should be getting a little better than that. On the highway it gets less than 20. The only mods it has is Crane Fireball ignition, BBK headers and off road H pipe, MAC mufflers, and its been switched to mass air with a A9L computer. Does she just need a tune up? Or is one of those mods eating all the gas? Thanks.

Once you put an o/r h pipe on, it will make the car run richer, same thing happened to me once i took off the stock h pipe. A tune up will help, i suggest new cap and rotor, plugs, wires, an air filter, fuel filter, and O2 sensors. That should help improve gas mileage. With an o/r x pipe and a good tune up i get about 16-17 city and 21-22 highway.
