i searched and didnt see anything like the problem im having so ill ask and see whats up, the guy i got my car from put a 140 speedo in, it reads 10mph off with stock gears and needle is a little shaky. the volt and oil meter both drop and raise about a quarter and the gas stays on full all the time. he says he replaced sending unit in it and just needed a full tank to drop float but it hasent seemed to work. any advice, also my head light will not turn off but i think it is in the switch, i took switch off and when i move the light handle it dont seem to open correctly

What kind of car are you talking about? It asks you to do that before posting a new thread and now I see why.
If its for a classic mustang I am having trouble with my gauge is reading full all the time too.

I think that I finally fixed the always full fuel gauge thing. I drilled a self tapping screw through mounting plate of the gas tank into the body so it have a good ground now.
