I can do alot of my own mods and if there is something I don't know how to do, I love to learn. I have done alot of the mods on my Mustang Bullitt. I think some girls are just afraid of what other people will think of them if they get dirty and like cars. I am 26, work in an accounting firm, where professional clothes everday, my nails are always clean, I wear heals, etc., and can't wait to get home and change into something confortable so that I can wash my stang or do whatever it is I have planned. You would think if you met me, I was a prim-and-proper pretty girl who loves the mall, but actually I love scoping out Summit (I don't live to far away form one) for parts and racing my car at the track.

I guess alot of people think girls only know how to operate a vacuum. My mom thinks I am crazy. She laughs at me all the time and says she can't wait until I have kids so that I grow up. Well, when I have kids I hope they love cars just there mom. Anyway, just my 2 cents! :)
You go girls!

Power to ya, Hun. Keep up the good stuff. You are

any woman that can change their oil gets my

hey girls just wanted to say hi bought a 1993 Mustang Convertible 2.3L no plans for racing only wanted to fix it up repaint it and enjoy riding around in it but the guy who sold it to me was a pretty cruel old guy and I had a rod go through the engine and now transmission problems as well. So I bought a used engine and took two days getting it in and replacing transmission next.
Cool thread! I know alot of women who work on their own cars.My daughter Megan built her first engine,351W,at age 16.
i know alotta girls that like workin on cars and trucks and stuff lol
We have quite a few women on this site and I would say the majority do there own work on the car.
