I got my Mustang geared over the weekend, went with 3.73s and gotta say i'm happy with it. It definitely woke up a lot through all the gears really, and especially 1st and 2nd. As of now my mod list is: short throw, 180 t-stat, CAI, catless true duals, and 3.73s. Gonna get UD pulleys next

From my understanding Pulleys don’t offer much of a gain in comparison to the tune as mentioned by (Red1999Cobra). Did you get the speedo recalibrated after the gear install?

I believe the majority would lean towards the Bama SCT tuner. Have you check out American Muscle? You can recalibrate your Speedo using this tuner as well. Your RPM setting still reflect your old gear ratio (3.27). Eventually you'll need to have it adjusted.

pulleys will give you a max of 5-10whp max depending on the car, they did real good on mine. but i would do the tune 1st.

skip the pullies, your car will run hot, the alternator slower...not good
Get the shifter...get a Pro 5.0
Next save up for the PI head swap...ebay has the best prices...real HP gains

+1 on what 2Manystangs said. But Ny's 02 GT Vert he can't have his speedo re calibrated with a tuner; his is a 97GT so it's mechanical and he will need either a gear tooth or a speed cal. I'd go for the speed cal. And yes go for the tuner with a bama tune, better than the pulleys.
