I put them lower conrtol arms on my stang got to test them out today with my bald a$$ tires and they seam to help a lot I got some tire spin in frist and nothin is secened I cant wate to get my nittos, do they work well on your stang??
got to the track today 2001 Mustang GT
Well my son and I and a couple friends hit us 13 speedway today it was pretty dang cold as well. High of like 48 and 10 to 15 mph winds.We started the day going right against the wind.
my nitto 555 extremes did not offer much support. the car actually did hook pretty decent off the line. the problem was when I hit second at 5900 and 10 lbs off boost they just broke loose and the car was more then a hand full thats for sure. I had to feather the throttle the first 2 passes as all I did was spin through second. I ran a 12.94 both times spinning.
The the first round I dialed a 12.93 and figured I would just see what would happen. I know the power is there the car is running great and putting down 60' times in the 1.80's just cant land second. So anyway up first round and heat those nittos like there is tomorrow.
I put in drive and held to the floor and still spinning through second but managed a 12.34 at 116.59 and a .149 light.
I know with some lower control arms and slicks she is going 11's I left a lot on the table today. sorry so long here are some pictures. I have video of it if I can figure it out. on the time slips I am on the left.

I dont have the DR'S I have the extremes that do well on the street but did not offer me enough today. depends on the power your pushing
yea im not F/I or anything yet so they should do me well what kind of LCA are you gona get?? I still got to get the UCA for mine
Not bad at all. I have the same problem when goin into 2nd, the ass end cuts lose. You should easily see 11's with LCA'a and a nice pair of slicks.
