This is generally not permitted but I'll let this one slide. However, take it to a PM.
I now have one on my Roush (PHA DS) and the wifes GT Vert (Spyder DS). Her car is nicely modified as well and I have found on both our cars the aluminum DS allows quicker acceleration, especially evident in the wifes vert, being its heavier. Hers is an auto trans and the difference is very noticeable and in both, power gets to the wheels quicker. As someone on this forum passed on to me, it has to do with the amount of engine energy (inertia) it takes to turn a 40lb shaft vs an 18lb shaft. Same principal applies I guess to the 2 wheel bikes. The lighter the bike, the less energy it takes to propel it, more energy creates greater acceleration...or something like that.Twist my arm :=( How much of an improvement is this D/S compared to the stock D/S? thx.
Less rotating mass is definately noticable! The same principle applies to wheels also.I now have one on my Roush (PHA DS) and the wifes GT Vert (Spyder DS).
