oh, yah
i tell ya, go for a ride with someone who did a 4cyl to 5.0 conversion who DIDN'T change the rear end, a 5.0 has so much torque on the rear end it rips the rubber mounts out of the upper control arms, so the pinion angle on the rear end keeps moving up and down, which makes it hard to shift(cause it makes the car bounce back and forth) and makes massive wheel hop. if you put your car in gear, put your butt up to the hatch and push the car back and forth, have someone lay under the car and watch the pinion, if it moves at all your upper control arm mounts are shot, change them all to polyureathane and you can take your quad shocks(axle dampener's is what ford calls them) right off, cause then you'll have NO play in the arms. but otherwise they do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.!!!!!
