I'm putting a mustang gt rearend in my v6 tomorrow. I know that if I use this Speedo it will be way off. If I just put the gt cluster from the same car as the rearend will everything work right? Answers quick would be much appreciated.

No, you need to recalibrate your ECU to tell it the type of rearend. You can do that using an SCT tuner

Sh!t. That sucks. I am trading the car this weekend. So maybe I just won't do the switch and save it for the v6 I'm buying in a couple weeks. Lol. Thanks for saving me the hassle!!:bigthumbsup

i dont know when they switched to the electronic speed sensors but it might just be as simple as changing the little gear that's in the tail of the transmission. but yeah dont put the rear in if you're selling the car. kind of a waste
