get the Trick Flows...you'll never regret it..btw that intake is not helping either, get the edelbrock Victor Jr with a wilson elbow for maximum flow.

Get the trick flows FTW. They are far superior and will not sacrifice any low end power and can support much more hp in the future.

You will be fine with that intake but getting a Victor Jr. and a wilson elbow will sacrifice low end without the right cam to tie it all together. With the cobra it will still feel nice down low and still have enough power over 5k rpm.

Call comp cams and ask. You might have issues with that cam.

Again, for the extra Hp the Tricks will give over The Gt40s, I'd save the cash or spend it on other parts that need replacing.

i wouldent waste the money on the gt40x heads, you said you have a cobra long block so im assuming you already have gt40 iron heads, i would go with the trick flows, since your not gonna see much more power out of the gt40x heads, there just an aluminum head instead of iron, the trick flows will give you added power over what you have

They have a different valve size also over the irons. I think they are 1.90 and 1.54 instead of 1.84 and 1.54

Well take the rad out and see if they can fix it cheap if not start looking for a rad. It shouldn't be too much to fix it specially if it is only a few months old.
