GT500 spoiler on a V6?

hey guys i have a quick question for u all, more like an opinion

right now i own a 2013 V6 and i have no spoiler at all, now i really like the ones that the GT500's have A LOT but dont want people to think "oh look at this idiot trying to make hes V6 look like a GT500" i just like it, or the other option will be the normal OEM or california eddition one or no spoiler at all.
what do you guys think?

I say do it its not like your slapping a cobra emblem on it or worse a 5.0

Don't think the spoiler falls into the "poser" category. It's not nearly as bad as installing cobra badges or the like. To be 100% honest, I've flipped flopped many times between the GT500 and cali special pedestal spoiler. Only reason I don't have one or the other is because I don't want to spend $300 on a cosmetic part when there are so many performance ones I need.

I'm with those guys. To me it's just something you like, like a GT grille or something. Not a big deal.

If your signature is on the payment checks, who cares what anyone else thinks?

The only way anyone is going to think your car is a Shelby is if you put the associated badges on it, along with ALL of the other related body parts.
its a nice looking spoiler but spoiler-less looks great and clean too. think about it a bit before drilling
Might as well, to go with the 2013 front end.
do what you want. otherwise you'll regret it later and it'll cost you double.

This spoiler was around $100 from AM and about $100 to install by my body shop guy.
I do not think its anything like a poser. Its just a fashion add on.
If it was mis-badged it would be a poser, but I have the pony & Tri bar in back and on the front fenders.

I voted both "GT500" and "No spoiler" -- the former because that's clearly your preference, the latter because that's my preference. The point is that I'm with everyone else and see nothing at all wrong with putting that spoiler on a V6. It's one thing to dress up a car as an outright fraud. It's another to select one part here, another there, and combine them in such a way to make a car that's uniquely your own.

How about showing us a picture of your car? is it a Coupe or a Convertible? What color is it? 17, 18 or 19" wheels?

I am not a fan the front and rear style on the 13 Mustang, but there is a Sterling Gray V6 Performance Package driving around that does not have any spoiler and it is gorgeous. I even told the guy not to had a spoiler has his car is just beautiful as it is.

I thought about spoiler delete when ordering my 12 Pony Package, but the car being Performance White would be missing something in my opinion.

Get it you will love it. Plus it is functional. It adds down-force. Just because another model has it in no way says poser. To not have one is just for looks. I would rather have less over-stear on the track. I have the 3d Carbon GT500 unit. Its easy to Install.

More pics here.

I'd go with "Other."

Rear View Camera Spoiler...

A tad subtler than the GT500 spoiler, but definitely more aggressive than stock/base. I'm also pretty sure you can find them on ebay, minus the camera hole for a reasonable price.

It's the route I plan to take.

I like either no spoiler, the standard V6 spoiler or the GT500 spoiler.
