Hey all, hope everyone is keeping warm with this chilly Midwest weather we've been experiencing!
So here's my issue this time around: I have a '94 GT which I built last winter and had tuned this spring. I'm experiencing some hanging RPM's when cruising down to a stop in neutral. Typically they hang closer to 2 grand but anywhere between 1.5K and 2K. The idle was set upon tuning dead at 1,000 RPM's, and although I've adjusted it a little since then (had some issues with stalling while at low speeds if I pushed the clutch in) it's basically still in the 1,000 - 1,100 mark depending on the outside temperature and how warm the engine is. So the hanging idle stumps me because today I checked for any gaps in the induction before the MAF by using compressed air and blowing all around any seams - no raise in RPM's as I hoped there might be! I haven't thoroughly checked for vacuum leaks yet, I'll do that when I have more time before work, but I am 95% sure that there aren't any. What worries me is that Lidio may have tuned over a small issue like the aforementioned, and when and if I correct it, it may throw the tune off slightly, I could be wrong. :yelwacko:
I don't want to overload anyone with info right now, but if you need more clarity on the issue I'll be back on later tonight. Any tips or advice is appreciated, I could use an outside eye!
