I've got a major issue with not enough handbrake power, pedals work beautiful. My 93LX has original handbrake lever (which seems to be working OK with spring and everything) connected via cables to Baer 11" track discs with hawk HP+ pads. I've taken everything apart and inspected and adjusted (rear sadles adj snug with hex key that tightens pivoting lever) and still not nearly enough emergency brake! Anybody have any clues or possible fixes???
I saw some note on modifying the handle itself for discs, how is this done and what does it achieve (only a longer lever or different geometry of cable wrap would increase cable momentum?)

Help!
