i have a larger aluminum radiator i want to put in instead of the stock one because it's lighter and in better condition. has anyone been able to modify the front to fit a larger than stock radiator. its a 76 if it make a difference. the only way i see it working is it i cut part of the frame and make it go around the radiator, but any ideas would be helpful.

Im putting in a large radiator, and i am puting in a different bracket thatn the stock one, the frame that holds the radiator was already cut off mine when i bought it yesterday, and i have a nice radiator so im just going to weld a bracket in there that will hold it, i dont see it fitting either with the stock setup. Good luck

can you post a picture of the front? i want to see what your doing because my front end is kinda messed up anyway. looks like it was hack up. the stock radiator is about 23 in end to end while the other one i got is about 28 in end to end.
