I have a forged 306 with an s trim blower pushing 15+ psi. I blew a head gasket. What do you guys think the best head gaskets to use in this setup are? I am only going with about 12 psi from now on. The motor had comitec mls gaskets before but I don't think the heads or motor were decked right. Can I use fel pro 1011-1's? I know 1011-2's are supposed to be used on aluminum heads but I have read some people saying that 1's can be used and hold up better with a blower.

This may be an answer to your qestion

The standard head gasket would be fine to run but on break-in be gentle. Make sure you recheck the torque on ur head bolts afterward. If you happen to blow another id say get ahold of jegs an see what they have for a performance gasket. But the 1011-1 should do fine though. A friend of mine about blew the head on his 347 with 31.4lbs from his ProCharger. :nono:
