I did a head job on the 5.0 last week. Put it all back together dropped the disturber in place. Set the timing at TDC 0 on compression stroke. Made sure the rotor was facing the number 1 spark plug termile on the cap. car started ran then I shut it off to set the timing and pull the scout out. Then it would not start??? Anything? Redid the processes again still nothing.

Try 12° and 14°, seems to be a safe bet. What did you do to fix it? Im betting it was to far retard, so when you took the SPout out, it killed the engine.
