hello everyone i recently replaced my headlamp housings & installed a HID kit & have some across a few problems.
1. that grey cylinder thing that twist onto the back of the housing to lock the headlight bulb in place? i broke the fins on the inside. where can i buy that grey piece at i cant find it anywhere
2. The middle light housing that holds the low & high beam, is crooked & all boltsl are on tight & i aligned the light as str8 as possible. i have the bracket off the old light mounted to my new middle light & its sitting crooked i cant get light to sit even i will add a picture tomorrow.
3 With my HID kit im positive i have it set up right, & they cut on fine but after running for about 30 seconds, the right always goes out!!! i swapped bulbs n it was still the right 1. I unplugged everything plugged it back in same thing, so im leaning towards the ballast, & yes i do have the lights grounded.

#1 those gray connectors are on almost all Ford of that vintage. Maybe Ford dealer has them or check j-yard. Doesn't have to come off a Mustang. The trucks even have them. Just look at every Ford of our age.
#2 There are adjustments maybe adjust them. If adjustment won't do it. Maybe a picture will help.
#3 Try swapping ballast from one to the other and see if problem moves. That would confirm this. Maurice
