Recently the headlight switch inside my car began acting up. When pushed all the way in, the cluster lights inside the car dont light up, only the center headlights are lit in the front, and my tail lights dont come on at all.

If i pull the switch back a 1cm or so, then my cluster light, taillights, and center and side markers on the headlights come on. Problem is, i hit a slight bump and suddenly the switch moves and my lights go back off.

I found that the driver side center marker was out so i replaced that, and i also found the driver side brake light to be out so i replaced that. I hoped this would cure my problem but it worked to no avail.

Any ideas on what might be wrong?
