Headlights

Hey, so I got bored this long weekend and decided to open my headlights and paint the inside chrome part black.... I resealed them with epoxy and gasket maker and silicone and the driver one now has condensation in it.
I was wondering if any of you guys know of a better product to use to re seal them.
Or know if anyone makes headlights that are painted on the inside with color shift LEDs in them for the 2 strips. Thanks

Drill two 1/2" holes in the bottoms of the housings under the reflector, where you can't see them. That's what I did when I painted the chrome trim around the reflectors on my 4runner.

Ventilation means no condensation, and tucked back behind the bumper cover you would need to submerge them to get water in through those holes. And positioned on the bottom, rain won't drip in.

Kept me condensation free for over a year until I sold the truck for my Stang.
But isn't that why I have condensation in the first place? Because I have a hole somewhere? Wouldnt more holes just make it worse?
My first thought was you need to vent them. The air you sealed in there has moisture in it so unless you can evacuate all the air I think it just requires a low enough temperature to condense in the housing. The percentage of moisture in the air inside the headlight will determine at what temperature all the moisture can no longer be held?

The seal around the lens is leaking, yes. And water or condensation can seep in through the crack.

Over think it all you want, but giving them larger vent holes on the bottom absolutely works.
And when they are on and vented the heat should dry them out.
id leave it for a couple days. when i did it on my old taurus, it went away after a couple days. can you post some pics too :D?
