Hi all. My 65 coupe goes to the paint shop next week..... While its in town I want to get the new headlinner fitted. When I ripped the old one out I marked the hood bows for location. I just put them back (less fabric) to check fitting. The rear most one dosn't want to sit right, it ether rolls too far forward or too far backwards. I does have a couple of small wire clips to hold the rod but with these it looks too far back. Any ideas???
Thanks

Hello.:) Those two small clips are what applies tension to the headliner from the backside in order to pull out any wrinkles. They're supposed to look too short.:) If your car is being painted you'll want to put the headliner in before you put the front and back glass back in.:)
