I don't know if this is representative of all of their work, or if it was just the one that I was sent (and subsequently returned). I will say that AutoAnything's customer service was awesome, and I would not hesitate to buy from them again.

Other than that, I'm not going to say anything, I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. Pictures aren't the best quality, they were taken with my cell phone.

ouch! is that brand now?
Yes, that's how it came out of the box from the factory.
Wow that looks bad! Mine sure didn't look that rough.

damn dude thats horrible. Today i got under my car while i was installing the rear springs and was able to look at the BBR off road x pipe that i installed about 1800 miles ago and couple of months back. It still looks new. very good quality stuff. i would stongly recommend it if you dont need cats.

They're way cheaper than anything else for a reason.
Welds are seriously terrible quality, notice the "holes" in those welds? those are called dry welds, inside they are just carbon burns, whoever welded that needs to go back to welding 101 manual. That company could not PAY ME enough $ to take their product
looks like my welds, Ive only ever attempted it twice on scrap metal. lol
Damn, their cat-back H-pipe was on my wishlist, until I saw those pictures.
Not surprising for cheap knock offs, if the price is too good to be true, it usually is. Plus the name Heartthrob is another clue, sounds like cheap stuff for high school kids.

If I had a 5.0L and were doing any exhaust mods, I'd go with Borla. Yes, a lot more expensive, but their stuff is guaranteed to last the life of the car, and will fit & look much better than stock.

Though mine weren't great by any means, they looked a heck of a lot better than those. I don't blame you one bit for sending those back.
I got mine from Heartthrob soon after they began to sell it and mine appeared to be good quality. Mine didnt look anything like your pics. Any decent muffler shop can custom make the same thing for around the same price, I guess they are sacrificing quality to keep up with demand.
Thats the only one I've seen that bad. But there's a bad one in every bunch. I'm purchasing mine with low expectations, and I'm probably going to go over everything and coat it myself. If i received what you did, I'd exchange it for another. You still can't beat the price and most places would exchange it out no problem...

Whats wrong with the welds? There not mechanized welds but thats ok. The extra wire and a brush sholuld of been taken care of. I dont see any holes and or porosity / under cut.

Well take a closer look at the pics again, you're right those are not holes, those are carbon wells,a carbon well happens when the rod tip gets a lil too high above the steel, loosing heat at it's core but allowing the outer flex to contact in centre rather than around the weld point... a carbon well is a weak spot in ANY weld.
Hit that spot with a welding hammer and carbon "glass" will shatter, resulting in a hole.
The welds themselves are very poorly done, notice the erratic right/left melt points, some are high and compacted while others lack bridging.

I myself weld and have welded my own custom exhaust, those are welds are functional but will will quickly deteriorate and turn to ****/create holes. It appears to have been done by an amateur welder, it wasn't welded evenly whatsoever somewhat eratic
It would be nice if someone from Heartthrob monitored this forum the way other vendors do, then maybe this issue would be rectified.

This "issue" has been rectified. I sent it back, I received my money back.

Heartthrob's quality control is lacking/non-existent.

They have unqualified and/or completely indifferent welders.

I was thinking the same thing.
Mine don't look like those pics.
