I have a 1977 Mustang II Ghia. 302 that has been freshened up. .30 over. New flat top pistons, mild-mid cam, intake, 4 barrell carb, distributor, addition of Fo-Mo-Co C9OE-E heads. Getting ready to throw it back in the car. I am stuck on the fence about headers. Is there a trick to installing. I have heard mention of changing the location of the #1 pipe. If I use headers what about the size of exhaust pipe? Also, should I have them Ceramic coaded before installation? I promise I am not trying to beat a dead horse here. Just want to make sure before I spend the time and money. All help is greatly appreciated. Best Regards Bryan.

They all go on easier with the engine outside of the car. The pipe though is in a dangerous position to the ground. Pot holes deeper than 4-6 inches are not recommended. They have a 3inch outlet, some will say stay with 3" but I'm going 2.5 on my build and i'm going to have a more aggressive build than yours.
