Welcome and congratulations on your new car! The first thing I always do when it comes to a new vehicle is exhaust. I went with a Ford Racing axle-back and was surprised by the quality sound. I'm sure you'll benefit just as equally. :D

Welcome to AFM and Congratulations on the 13' Sixxer! The new V6's can definitely hold their own on the street and strip.

If you want a loud exhaust I would recommend Long tube headers, Off road X pipe and whatever axle back best fits what you're looking for!

I hope this helps, let me know if you have any questions! Our Mustang Experts are here Monday-Friday from 9AM-9PM EST and Saturdays from 9AM-5:30PM EST. If you want to hit them up, their number is 866.727.1266.

Definitely post up some pictures once you throw on the spoiler, we'd love to check it out! Thanks for your business and loyalty.

thanks!! i was looking at the BBK shorty xpipe and long tube headers,
i'm so undecided on the three axle backs that i want.
ROUSH, BORLA ATAK, and MAGNAFLOW QUAD exhaust ones.

will those 3 fit the bbk parts? which ones is the loudest? thanks! :)
i'm doing this in a few weeks, ordering everything from american muscle:yup:

Just about any cat-back exhaust will meet up with the BBK LT & Xpipe setup. The BBK exhaust lines up with the factory V6 cat-back, so you can use any aftermarket cat-back exhaust that designed to work with a factory Mid-pipe.

As for the loudest, I would say the Roush is probably the loudest of the three. It also will be the most raspy and will be EXTREMELY loud with an O/R xpipe. The sound is completely up to you, but I would go with more of a tamed muffler if you're gonna do an O/R mid-pipe, otherwise you won't be able to hold a conversation inside the car, IMO.

Hope this helps!

Welcome and congratulations! I'm just waiting to order my Ford Racing GT500 axle backs! They are my favorite!
