Hey guys! I am new to the forum. I need some help. I just bought my first mustang. I have developed a squeaking that sounds like a belt squeak. i have changed the idler pulley, and the cam position sensor, not the sync. any ideas? its just really annoying. lol. Also, my clutch has developed a weird noise like a hissing when i press down. im more worried about the squeak then the clutch because im gonna be dropping a stage 1 in it in a month or two. please give me some info. i have tried to read all the posts i can find, but no avail to this particular problem. Thanks!

UPDATE: so i just went and took my serpentine off and ran the engine for a few seconds. the squeaking is still there. im guessing its a cam position synchronizer. im at 100,700 miles. is this a job for a mechanic or myself?

I would say leave it to the professionals man. If you are not sure in any way of how to fix it when it comes to engine work then don't touch.:gringreen
