i was told somewhere that i need to swap shifter arms out of the trannys. so i took the pan off, loosened the nut holding the shifter arm in, and put the shift arm from the mustang tranny into my marquis tranny, and put the tranny in my car, i get the tranny into the car, linkage is correct, but with the tv cable hooked up, the tv cable is almost like its frozen.. did i do something wrong? anybody have experience with this? please help

also, i was told that all i had to do was swap shifter arms.. and that everything else was the same.. am i correct?
