Help cruise control dont work!

I have an 05 gt automatic with a few mods. I cant figure out what mod, if any, or why my cruise control quit working. I took it to ford for the recal (airbag reprogram)and the guy tried to find out what was wrong for a few minutes. We hook it to a computer and all the systems were ok. He said to bring it back another time specifically for the cruise control. Has any else had problems with it not working? what did you do. I was thinking about replacing the switches on the steering wheel, but i wanted to ask around before i waste my money. Does anyone have any mods that you know effects the cruise control?
