I recently put fluids in my new 5.0 motor and started it, after a bit of timing adjustment, I got it to run (with my foot pressing on the gas).
But when I take my foot off the car shuts off.

I was inspecting vacuum lines and I thought the MAP was hooked up wrong, I had it attached to one of the lines on the intake (cobra intake). I took it off and coolant/water poured out. I am worried about this water. Is this normal or what?

I thought water shouldn't be in the vac lines. What do you think I need to do to get it to idle well?

You should not have coolant in your vacuum lines, i would check the gaskets between your egr spacer and intake, maybe coolant is entering your intake from there. figure out why there is coolant in your vacuum lines first and fix that, then check TB adjustment set screw if you have an aftermarket TB. and TPS voltage should be .98
