hey guys i need help. so i have a 1983 mustang gt 5.0 and its got this coolant leak that looks like its coming from the water pump..its only happens when i drive it i can sit and idle all day i can rev it up and itll be fine..i change the water pump put new gaskets it and it still does it and its not like a small leak its pretty big and its really start to frustrate me please everybody help me i don't know if there something behind the water pump housing thing that needs to be changed just help!

Very well could be your timing cover to block gasket. Can you post a picture?

Clean your engine very good and get a pressure tester.

well i replaced the timing cover gasket and the problem still exist but it only happens when i rev it to 4 grand i dont know what to do anymore

get a pressure tester.

A pressure tester takes the guess work out of finding leaks..:yup:
