I'd guess the actual engine swap wouldn't be a problem. However, the 5 year gap in manufacturing could give you issues with wiring harness connections. Also car manufacturers have a habit of moving sensors, replacing them with different styles or adding/deleting emissions parts. I'd do a lot of research (with pictures) on the 2 engines before attempting a swap. The basic engine configuration is probably identical but everything else could have been altered.
