1st off what are your plugs gapped at?...also do you have an adjustable Fuel pressure regulator?...if so try turning it down a little to lean it out some..If not also try stepping up on the FMU disk to lean it out maybe a 6.1 FMU is to rich..Just some ideas oh yeah whats you timing at?...do you run it with the spout in or out...you can try setting the timing say like 18-19 degrees with the spout out and leave it out and see how it runs...

the plugs are pre gapped i know they should be around 35 but the zex plugs are kind of diamond shaped and say not to gap and yes i do have an adjustable regulator ill try that i hate to mess with the fmu because im running a 13.5 afr around 4000 rpm and yeah i still have the spout in with 12 degrees of timing ive tried to adjust it up and down with out any luck. i will try these few things when i get home friday and let you know the out come
thanks for the help

Turn your timing down use reg autolite plugs that are 1 step colder than stock GAPPED. Add MSD or MAllory box, 255 high pressure Walbro pump, pro m meter. Then get a tune
