Hey everyone,

99 mustang GT

I just picked up a used P1SC Procharger supercharger kit! I am really excited and want to start getting everything I may need for the install.

Does anyone have any recommendations as to what I should get for a smooth and strong build? After market Pullies? What lb injectors? Brand and type of spark plugs? Wiring? (Feel free to give me a shopping list lol) at the very least, some things to look up and start comparing.

I bought the mustang third party, and it was already lowered, should I look into any particular suspension parts or upgrades?

Also any tips or tricks or even "don't do this" would be appreciated. I know enough that it needs to be tuned/dyno'ed after install, before I start it. It didn't come with a tuner.

I have googled and youtubed, but there is so much available, I can't even begin to try and break it down.

Thanks in advance!

List the exact parts you have and we can go from there.

Minimum (from what you mentioned above) is bigger fuel pump OR a Boost-A-Pump, Injectors (39s or 42s will probably suffice for the stock bottom end), a step colder spark plugs (I personaly run Autolite 103s for my Nitrous).

Thanks for breaking it down for me!

I have the procharger P1SC kit, air to air 2 stage reservoir, VMO 5000 (i believe is the air flow sensor) currently the mustang only has an aftermarket intake and an after market exhaust that makes it growl nicely.

From the pic it looks like you have the injectors (bottom right?)....I think the BOV is in the middle.

You will need a fuel pump or a boost-a-pump. A dyno tune. Spark plugs like I mentioned above.

Assuming the whole kit is there then that should be all as far getting the supercharger on the car.

Might want to invest in some gauges; Air-Fuel Ratio (get a wide band O2 sensor kit), boost gauge, and fuel pressure gauge.

Hey Jon,

Good eye! Yes, it came with injectors.

Thank you! I will look into the rest as well as the gauges, that's a good idea, I would like to know what is happening the best I can.

looks like everything is there. I see the procharger idle pulley is in the bag with the clamps. Looks like your going to need a intake filter. You will need a bap and plugs. I use tr6 plugs in my setup. What size pulley is on that blower? It is stamp with the numbers on it.

Hey blown O2,

BAP=Boost A Pump? Sorry, novice and making sure I understand.

Also, I looked on the pully and nothing is stamped on it (maybe on the inside?) the outer lip is the size of a pack of cigarettes and the inside threads are about a quarter inch inside that.

Correct, boost a pump and there is a number on the other side of that pulley. If you can look between the gap and see it, we can give you a ideal of how much boost and amount of horsepower you will make.

I see some scaring on the edge of that pulley which means the last owner did not have it properly aligned. It was rubbing against the alternative housing.

I am doing the same thing to my 2000 GT. I used a SVT 310 focus pump with -8an fuel line and a 20 micron filter. I have a KB BAP but haven't needed it yet, my DC is still fairly low but I am still tuning. Started with 60# deka injectors and was too extreme, went to 03/04 termi 39# bosch injectors and is running much better. I also have the big red race bov and it is atmospheric valve. The maf I am running is a Pro-M Racing 75mm, it is also a blow thru maf. I am having a hell of a time tuning it, I would recommend a lightening maf. I am also running a 3.60" pulley, I am hoping it will make 8-9psi MAX. The belt I had to use was a K061073 gates, the K061080 was too long of a belt. I'd get a wideband gauge if you dont have one already. I also have the manual in PDF if you need it, I can email it to you or send you a link to download it.
