I got into an accident where i rear ended someone, well my grill pushed back into my radiator, which pushed into my fan. well i got the radiator off no problem, but i cant seem to get that heater hose disconnected from the grill. i unhooked the A/C hose from the A/C, but i couldnt get it off of the grill. These hoses are 1/4 inch wide and the heater hose runs back into my fire wall. how do i disconnect these types of hoses? ===={}===
They kind of look like that, with the round clamp on it. please help
those dont look like heater hose connections, rather a/c spring lock couplings. you can get a tool from autozone or sears which will be labeled A/C and fuel line disconnect tool.
They are called Fuel Line / A/c Line disconnect tools. They come in packs of 5 that are different sizes. About $10-15.
You push it on the side that has the spring exposed and pull the line. It can take some manipulation and a friend comes in handy if it is being a severe PITA.
