I finished a complete engine restoration in June of this year to my 1990 LX 5.0. The work included:

Holley Systemax II top end kit (Cam, rods, timing chain, etc.)
Rebuilt stock 5.0 bottom end bored .030" over
Holley 70mm throttle body
Granitelli mass airflow meter
K&N cold air intake
30 lb injectors
190 lph Holley fuel pump
Lunati 1.6:1 roller rockers
Centerforce clutch/flywheel
BBK 1 1/2" lowering springs
BBK tuned shorty headers
Custom 2 1/2" exhaust with h pipe
Flowmasters Delta Flow 40 Series
Ford Racing Mini Starter

Well the car ran great (and fast) until about a week ago. After sitting for about 8 hours I started it and it ran for about 20 seconds and quit. It would not start...as there was no spark at all. A long story short...I've replaced the coil and the TFI module and I thought I had it but after about a 15 mile drive last Friday it just died upon acceleration. I put the original TFI module back on and it started fine. I haven't drove it far because I'm afraid I will be stranded again.

Any ideas from anyone? Thanks!

Sounds like a possible distributor problem?

Thanks...

I have thought of that and might find I need to send it back to ACCEL. It's their Billetech distributor and Super coil. Ironically I've been driving the car now since last weekend and haven't had the problem again! Kind of hard to diagnose without it happening again! Thanks for your help.
