Livewires are basically glorified X3s. The only thing it has going for it is the monitoring and data dump capabilities which are sometimes useful. It does have the capability to hook a wideband sensor up to it for A/F and other things but really is a waste becuase if you really need that you will have a gauge for it. For the extra $200+ retail I wouldn't buy one. However, I picked one up really cheap on eBay. Saying all that, I like it.

SCT's new touchscreen looks pretty cool though.

There won't be an hp difference between the x3 or the livewire. I honestly would just go with an x3 there's no point to spend 200 more for the livewire.

There is no performance gain with the Livewire. The only reason I got one is because I got it on eBay for $200. If you can get a good one for cheap go for it otherwise I would just stick with the X3/SF3.
