I Put The Eng.on T.d.c, Turn The Key It Started On The First Attempt I Let It Run A Little, Then I Went And Disconnected The Spout Connector And The Eng. Died, Did I Have It Too Advance Or Retarded, How Can I Set Timing If Engine Turns Off ?

It was probably retarded. Move the distributor (looking down from above) clockwise slightly, get the engine started and set the timing. You can even start it without the spout being connected.
