Hey everyone! I'm new to AFM, but need help ASAP!
I just bought a 2000 black mustang gt with 86,xxx miles on it. orig owner. everything stock. I've had it for about 2 weeks now and it started to hesitate when i picked up speed on the way to work this morning. On the way home it idled wierd with the RPM going up and down about 1,000 RPM to 2,000.
Engine cool, both engine check lights just came on tonight when i got home. just did a flush and fill, changed oil, fuel filter, ect.

Please let me know if you know whats wrong! Thanks guys!

You could have a bad cam or crank sensor. This would cause the loss of power and irregular idle. Your car probably entered the "limp home mode" where the computer gets a signal to keep the car running good enough to get it home without doing any harm. I had this happen in a '04 Pt Cruiser. Check engine light came on and the car run like crap. I replaced the cam sensor and it ran right again.
