Just installed the black billet hidden fog light grille from American muscle. Install was a bit of a pain. The directions aren't clear but i had to figure out on my own by using rice eaters (Jeffs) car for reference to see how far the grille sticks out. First of all save your self the headache and pull the grille out like in the cdc? Shelby like grille video. Its a bit tricky to take apart. Once off remove bumper. And put the grille against the new opening touching the fogs. Your ganna have to cut 2 tabs and slide some clips on the grille shell and put the screws. That's the top portion. The bottom just line up Mark and drill. Then add the clips with screws. Leave the fogs attached to the grille. Now the stillen chin. I highly recommend getting a buddy to help out. Clean the stock lip with rubbing alcohol. Loosen all the screws on the bottom belly cover . Remove the 3 screws on each side. I suggest you add washers to the new screws because the new chin splitter has bigger openings. Peel all the tape off regardless of what the instructions tell you. Line it up. Half screw the first screw closes to the tire. Then half. Buddy push on other side to line up holes enough for you to add the other screw when have your buddy apply pressure then start tighting one side with new screws then move on to other. I then used 5-6 screws on the bottom to secure the splitter to the oe one. Undecided if i wanna use the support rods . In gonna have to fabricate the grille in order to screw on. Sorry for the cell pics bumper is a tad dirty from my finger prints.

Looking good Man! I love the Chin spoiler and Grille/Hidden fog lights. The front of your car definitely looks really mean! Keep up the great work and let me know if you ever have any questions.

Thanks for being a great customer!

The Splitter looks great! I'm glad you like it! The Splitter is a functional piece, and the turnbuckles we provide are to support the downforce created from this Splitter. We have had customers that have done additional bracing on the Splitter and have not used the turnbuckles, but the part was designed for use with the turnbuckles installed. We would hate to have the piece come loose at high speed because of the installation.

But all in all, the car looks great! :bigthumbsup

Definitely looks great. I say go without the supports, but as Stillen just said, make sure you find another way to support the splitter.

I think the turnbuckles would look awesome black like on Tommy's car.

Where did you attach them? From the pics, it looks you you somehow attached them to the grill.

You attach them to the underside of the bumper. It appears that it's attached the grill though.
