Need some info please,

I want to quiet the sound on my exhaust. What i have are Kooks LTH W/ off x-pipe and Corsa exhaust. Can i just add some high Flow Cats and keep the O2 sensors off?

Will this quiet down the raspyness?
Thanks
Jody

I believe you can keep your 02 sensors off with hi-flows. Hi-flows should get reduce some of the raspiness and quiet it down a little. Corsa's tend to be a little raspy no matter what midpipe you use.
Use a resonator not a cat. They are cheaper and designed for sound control. The cats won't get hot enough to reduce emissions running after LTH.
+1 on either you could add high flows or resonators they both will clean the sound up. But I think a resonator will do it just a little more.
+1... Don't wast your money on the high flows. Go with resonators. They work much better.
+2 on the resonators

Any suggestions on were to get them?
Thanks
Online, EBAY and exhaust shops all carry resonators. As far as size. Since you are running L/T, O/R X I would get 18".

That's odd, I love my loud exhaust. Hope the resonators get the job done. :bigthumbsup

+1 to that man but everyones got there preference.
check out the slp shotgun resonators on american muscle thats what im running on my 06 before the axle.
hey if i take off my cats, can i put these in place of them in the same area?
They aren't a replacement for cats. You won't pass any emissions with these instead of cats. Resonators are installed in the ota pipes in front of the axle.
