I havent done any mods to the suspension, and i want to get my car to hook, can i keep the factory star rims and put sticky tires on them? I see the MT's but on the cars, i doesnt look good to me, so i want the best looking tire with the stick. Price is not a hinderence so any help would be great, remember, i want to keep the same rims and the tires to look the way the ones i have on there now look. I have the bridgestone fuzions, which at first and me jumping out the hole great, but now i guess they have worn down a lil and im getting nothing but spin out the hole. I have an 01 GT, 5 speed, mac prochamber, mac straight shot cai, flowmaster muffs, mac underdrives. Ran at best 14.7 last night here in el paso, he local guys told me to reduce the air pressure in the rear tires and my times got worse. I launch at 5500 rpms, and my times are in the 14's so they tell me to launch at 2500 and my times went into the 15's granted this is el paso and the elevation is ridiculous but there has got to be a way to get me into the 12's without a s/c. You tell me and i will make it happen, any advice is appreciated.

BF Goodrich and Nitto also make Drag Radials that will fit your factory rims. Getting into the 12's is going to take more mods than what you have now. This link will show the times of 2 Valve N/A Mustangs from the 10's on up thru 15's. Some have member pages you can view and see what they have done to get these times:
