How best to upgrade Mach 460 system

4422 Views 2 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  Blind_Guardian
I have a 98 Mustang with the Mach 460 system. I am looking for some more bass, but I dont need to shake the neighborhood. My problem is that I frequently use my trunk space and therefore i cannot fill up my trunk. I need the space. Any ideas on what I could do? I was wondering about the Kenwood KSC-SW1 and if that was any good. Does anyone have any experience with that?

If your looking for a little more bass, then you can go a few routes. Depending on your budget, 1 10" sup and a 250W amp whould take up hardly any trunk space and give you a little more bass then what you have right now. If you absolutely cannot put anything in your trunk and are some what good with metalwork, you may be able to fit 2 8" subs where your rear speakers are right now, mount the amp on the backside of the seat. Need to know more about your budget and amount of space to work with.
Ok i recomend these to everyone who doesnt want to tae up alot of space.
The Elemental designs EU-700 they are 6.5" and take 150 watts rms. they are made for sound quality so they wont just shake the neighbourhood they will soud awesom. and they only cost $50 (they have been on sale for a while now) they are originaly $85 also they offer free shipping
