I picked up my GT/CS on Friday and am loving it so far. The only issues I have with it are that when I play music off my USB drive, it always organizes my music by song title, so all the artists just get mixed together and it's really annoying. Is there a way to organize music by the folders on my USB drive, or at least by artist with the tracks sorted by the track number? Even when I play a specific artist, my songs are still organized alphabetically by track name.

The other issue I have is that when I start my car most of the time the radio has reset itself from USB to FM or AM randomly. Is there any fix for this?

I assume you have Sync, if so familiarize yourself with it's options. You can control the playlist many different ways As well as request any media at any given time per audio requests. As far as the defaulting back to radio, it's not suppose to do that. You may want to have that checked out. Unless there's a preference that i'm not aware of. Anyone?

Question... Can it play .mpeg4 video's ? I have allot of music video's that would be nice to hear the music while seeing the video on the screen.

I know it plays DVDs but I have these mpg4 videos on my I phone. USing USBor just uploading to the HD

I beleive that only works if you have the files organized by album, artist, etc on the storage device?

Could it be its only giving you tracks because thats all the info on your mp3 device?

When using my iphone i can sort by artist, album, genre, track, or play list.

The songs will always play in alphabetical order unless you are playing a specific album. Even then, you must have the track number data field filled out properly.

Look at your usb drive on your computer. Open a folder with your music in it and Right Click->View->Details. Make sure the field "#" is filled in with the track numbers. You can change this information by right clicking on the mp3 file->Properties->Details Tab

Holloway, I get that too!! When I shut the car off while it is playing the USB, and then get in later and start the car, the radio is on AM, not the USB. It's obviously a software glitch.

I would also like it to play specific folders, but haven't found a way to do that. Not sure why, I can't say "play... folder... X"

Yeah, about every 3rd time I start the car it does that. It usually goes to FM2, but once it went to AM. I have found out how to play folders, if you go into the media menu you can go to the "Explore Device" option IIRC, then play all music. It'll sort your music by folder, but it still alphabetizes songs by title.
