Trying to purchase a door data plate for a 1965 Mustang. serial Number 5F09C781952

There are smarter people on this site than me, but I believe the build date was only available on the door tag. It is possible to estimate the date using your production series number and options installed. The only other option I know is to hopefully find the original build sheet. A long shot though. Good luck!

There are several people on the forum that can give you the date within a few days. That is about the best you can get.

My book says its a '65 fastback made in July 1965 built at the Dearborn plant. Came with the C code 289 with 2 bbl carb.
