my 06 v6 has headers duals and a inter cooled vortech. made 333 hp and 343 tq at the wheels. added a 8.8 witht 3.55 gears and went 12.82 at 106 ,motor is all stock. turning 15 psi
How much power can my 2007 v6 4.0 Mustang internals handle?
hey i own a 2007 v6 pony package 4.0. i need to know how much power my intenals can handle safely as im a daily driver. also how much power can my stock transmission and clutch handle?
for performance i currently have
magnaflow x-pipe and catback
jba headers
jlt intakee
steeda underdrive pulleys
x3 flash tuner
my clutch and transmission and all that is all stock.
i plan on installing a intercooled procharger.. but before that i need to know how much power my STOCK engine internals can handle..another question is which internal should i be changing if i should change them at all??

with the aftermarket SC applications with intercoolers, you should be good

i was also wodering how you managed that much hp at the wheels do you mean flywheel possibly?
he mustve, cuz theres no way hes making that much power with those mods. i have a 100 shot of nitrous, and thats almost as much as i make...

well i just ordered a 4 inch cowl hood from cervinis im gonna throw that on when it gets here probly a couple weeks. im gonna park it for the winter right after that. depending on my cash flow ill have the supercharger either by end of november or spring. with the supercharger tuned how much torq and hp should i be expecting?

Check out what MRT did with a V6, They claim 325hp.

252 to the wheels is still monster power for a bolt on v6. i dont really know how or if you have 252 hp. with similar mods i posted 50 less horsepower to the wheels, albeit i have an automatic, but still, thats FIFTY more hp....id love to see the dyno sheet.yeah sorry guys i just made this account i typed it wrong. wheel is 252. ill change that

regardless, with a supercharger setup and intercooler it depends on boost. but right around 315-340 hp and comperable torque
why the heck would they go through all that and still have single exhaust on that car....wowCheck out what MRT did with a V6, They claim 325hp.

I have essentially the same mods and I'm guessing I only have around 210hp. Not arguing with you, but I'd like to see a dyno sheet...252 is a heck of a lot.

OP, you are either lying your ass off, or you were lied to yourself. There is no way in hell you are making 252rwhp with CAI, tune, exhaust and UDP's. Absolutely no way. You could be making that to the fly, but not to the wheels. You either misunderstood, and your dyno results were inflated to reflect flywheel hp, or you were lied too by a scumbag dyno company, or you are lying yourself. Take your pick.

hey i just blew my engine main seals, i havent gotten it checked out by a mechanic but i had it up on ramps, not sure where else it could be coming from.. just got it towed an hour ago. IF it isss the main seals then im simply gonna be buying a new gt engine instead of wasting money on the seals. is that a good or bad idea? what supporting parts woulld i need to complete the sswap
