Where did you get that number..? The GT/CS wheels are ~$400 each and they are almost identicalThe RETAIL price per wheel is 676.xx per wheel ...FNGFOG
Well, I understand what you are saying, but the performance package does not come with "factory" tires, and there is currently no one selling the wheels that I know of.You will never get that kind of money for factory tiers and rims. The after market and the knock off market are far too cheap to compete with. Look at E Bay, sellers hold on to tires and rims hoping to get big money for them and they do not sell. In the past I have picked up popular, very popular factory rims for other vehicles as low as 300 a set. I even paid 100 for a set of chrome ford wheels for my truck which were the most popular rim for its year. Just browse this site and see how many stangs have changed thier wheels. Many of them are trying to sell them just like you. If you get 1000.00 you did great, realisticlly you should probably get 700. Sorry, that's reality, no matter what the tires cost new. But who knows you may find a sucker willing to pay 1700
Dude, show me where you can get me the Performance Package Rims, Tires and Sensors for $1000 take off with delivery mileage. Seriously I would like to buy 100 sets.If the tires and rims came original on the car then they are factory. Mine has Michilens which cost way more than I would ever spend for another set of tires but they are factory none the less. And im not telling you the tires and rims are not expensive as new. But they are not new. I honestly did not mean to insult you and apologize if I did. I just wanted to give some real world pricing for used tires and rims, no matter how little they were used. I can always be wrong, and in this case for you I hope I am, I just do not see getting much more than 1000, and as I said that would be very good
My question to you is show me who would pay 2000 as some have said for a set of used tires and rims. If the OP was talking about buying a set of brand new ones then YOU are right, but My assumption is that he was talking about selling a set that came off his car. If that was the case then they are used and no one should buy a set of used tires and rims for 2000 dollars unless they are a very special unique set. Im sorry, they are not unique, they are a standard 19 inch aluminum rim that comes on two different cars, the V6 PP and the GT/CS. Although they are both special packages, they are none the less volume cars. And the rims are only unique in that they come on those packages. But as this site alone indicates, the PP is very popular, and not a rare commodity. Add that to the fact that everyone knows dealership products are always over priced, and the argument for 2000 dollars continues to decrease. I know full well what a set of rims and tires from the dealership would cost. But when you sell a product you have to put yourself in the buyers shoes. Would any of you really pay 1700 to 2000 for some used rims that someone else took off their car because they didnt want them and put on yours. I really dont think so.would you pay that and more for a brand new set, YES, but for used factory rims, really?Dude, show me where you can get me the Performance Package Rims, Tires and Sensors for $1000 take off with delivery mileage. You can't even buy the tires for less than $1000.
I am under the impression that the OP is talking about essentially new take right off the car with only delivery miles on them. So, which not off the shelf new, they are practically new off a brand new car.My question to you is show me who would pay 2000 as some have said for a set of used tires and rims. I will conceed to that thought process. Personally I still feel that is high, but then again, I started a post last week expressing how much I dislike the rims anyway.I am under the impression that the OP is talking about essentially new take right off the car with only delivery miles on them. So, which not off the shelf new, they are practically new off a brand new car.
In that case, I personally would pay $1750 for the wheels, tires, and rims. Not exactly a steal but I would consider that as a good deal. Like I said, the tires and sensors alone are worth almost that much. The rims are practically free in this case.
How about a link to one of these eBay auctions.after further examination, I did see at least 5 other sets
