I bought a set of adjustable upper control arms off my friend who sold his stang...there going on my 88 gt and i was jus wondering how to adjust them to get better traction for the drag strip??? wut i was going to do is adjust them to the same size as the stock uppers and then go from there but i dont no wether to make them bigger or smaller then the stock ones to set the pinnion angle just right for the most traction and to help my launch so if anyone knows how to adjust them please comment back or leave me a priviate message thanks..

You need a magnetic base dial level that reads in degrees. You attach the magnet to the face of the drive shaft flange on the differential after removing the drive shaft and you adjust the uppers until you have a 3 degree down angle on the flange - be sure the car is level on 4 jack stands that are under the rear axles and front A-arms.
If you don't have all those fancy tools.... The idea is to have the driveline and the pinion gear in a straght line when you lonch. So seeing how the rear end will twist somewhat when you take off, set the arms so that the pinion and the driveline are not quite straght, but at a slight V angle.
It's only one tool and it's cheap....................
