I need some help, the guy I bought my car from a while ago deleted the smog pump and left all the smog lines hanging around, the only ones that are coming from the black vacuum cluster are the one that goes to the egr and the one to the intake. How to I go about getting rid of this mess behind my passenger side strut tower? They look like 2 little plastic canisters with wires going into the firewall/fender and to the black vacuum cluster. One of the canisters is broken not to mention. Any help would be appreciated, don't know whats connected to the ones that go into the fender/firewall. Thanks guys. The picture I added is not myn but thats what im talking about, that black thing the the stuff behind the strut tower.

cap it off. and tuck the lines your not using into the fender. if your deleting all that stuff, get a tune for no EGR. or else you'll always have cel on.

There are 3 solenoids on the back of the passengers side strut tower (TAB TAD and EVR) and are strictly for emissions and if you have everything emission related removed from your car you can eliminate those 3 solenoids, just make sure that any vacuum lines left by eliminating the solenoids are sealed shut so that you don't have a vacuum leak later.

Having the TAB, TAD, EVR solenoids disconnected will not cause the CEL (check engine light) to turn on.

The only problem you might run into is if you leave them disconnected you'll have their respective 8x code logged as "On Demand" codes, but will not cause the check engine light to turn on.
