How do I get the plastic "cowel" that is between the hood and windshield off???
Do I have to undo those bolts that hold the top to the fire wall??? It's got a rubber flap that seals it against the window, but I see no "bolts" or clips holding the front side on at the hood???

I want to paint it with some Factory paint I got online, but I can't seem to be able to get it off??

If it's being too much of a hassle to get off, I'd just tape off everything around it and paint it while still installed.

wELL, I didn't think of doing that.....DoH! Except there are parts going under the fenders ???

If its the same as an 02 you pull the weather stripping then the center of the push pins come out (they look like screws) then just pop the clips and it lifts off. I've had mine off a couple times now with no problems.

be careful though because they are easy to break
