Let me explain what is going on before I ask the question, I have a 96GT with 4.10s. I finally got a chance to run my car at the track and I'm having a problem with the car shifting into fourth at 900 to 1000 ft mark. I have tried to turn on the o/d off button but if I'm wot it automatically turns the o/d off button off and shifts into fourth at 5k it should shift at 6 which would put me at the very top of third at the stripe. My question is does anyone know how to stop the ecu from automatically overriding the button? I have a diablo sport chip (it's not the handheld, the chip plugs into the ecu), my tuner and I have not yet figured out how to override it with the chip so does anyone have any suggestions that don't include a manual valve body?

How is the adjustment for the downshift cable? Is it pulling to much?
To low of a vacuum can also make it go out of overdrive, look for vacuum leaks. Outside of these suggestions I could not speculate further with all the mods you have. I have no experience with those.
