Hello People I was asking how to race with my 2014 Ford Mustang V6 automatic transmission, because I asked to my mechanic how and he says that I can do it in neutral for the lunch and when the green ligth turns on shift to "S" and run but i don´t know how someone can help me?

Don't nuetral drop it.... Good God don't nuetral drop it, you will mess stuff up. Put it in drive, power brake it almost to the point of doing a burnout, then get off the brake to launch, then control the amount of throttle so you don't spin the tires much, then just hold the gas down and go.

but if I control the amount of throttle the max rpm is 2000 so the launch is too poor

Lmao.......don't do it! Turn traction control off. Leave in drive, brake torque just barely over idol and stab on green taking your foot off the brake at the same time.

2000 is where every other auto is at on launch too, and it's only 1000 or so below where a manual should launch.

You don't punch it when the green light comes on. You floor it when the last yellow light comes on. Drive around the water box and pull up until the first staging light comes on. Then wait for the other car to prestage (turn on the first yellow light), then move forward slowly until the second staging light comes on. Wait for the other guy to do the same. Now just sit there and idle and when the lights drop, floor it when the last yellow hits. Leave the car in drive. It will shift itself.
