I was wondering how to remove my fuel filler neck with breaking the plastic box that mounts to the panel. Where does it seprate? does it come off the tank or does the end where u fill come off? Don't want to beark anything.I already have all the bolts off!

Its been awhile, but IIRC there are 3 screws on the gas cap side, and and 4 screws underneath that on the back side of the three top ones. Remove them, then the filler neck should come loose, mya have to drop the tank, like I said its been years since if dropped a tank. I fabbed up an access door, just to be able to remove my pump with out having to drop the tank.

i think you have to drop the tank. not for sure but i think you do.

Thank u, thats the answer I was looking for. I am painting the car so the tank has to come off anyways!

Did it last night. U have to drop the tank & it pulls out of the gromet from the bottom by the tank!
